St Stephen's Hall was rebuilt after the fire of 1834 that destroyed much of the Houses of Parliament. Before the fire, St Stephen's Hall was the home of the House of Commons and witnessed important debates that have shaped the UK, including those surrounding the Great Reform Act of 1832 and the Abolition of Slavery in 1807.
