Welsh Affairs Committee
Committee to hold a one-off evidence session.
Rt Hon Greg Hands MP, Chief Secretary, HM Treasury, gives evidence to the Welsh Affairs Committee regarding Welsh rates of income tax. In the Autumn Statement 2015, the Government announced it "will legislate to remove the requirement for the Welsh Assembly to hold a referendum in order to implement the Welsh Rates of Income Tax, to reflect the change in the debate in Wales". This evidence session is an opportunity to examine these proposals.
No evidence has been published by the committee yet.
There are currently no public meetings scheduled.
Welsh Affairs Committee evidence session on 8 February 2016 has been postponed
