Parliament has extended its welcome to overseas visitors with the introduction of audio tours in Brazilian Portuguese.

The tour includes the House of Lords, the House of Commons and medieval Westminster Hall. The audio commentary features leading parliamentary figures such as Mr Speaker and Black Rod.

Tours run every Saturday and on most summer weekdays between 27 July and 9 October 2015.

Tickets can be purchased online, by calling +44 (0)20 7219 4114 or in person from the Ticket Office at the front of Portcullis House on Victoria Embankment.

More information for the travel trade is available on the Groups and travel trade page.

Saturday 8 August 2015 is also ‘Brazil Day’ in Trafalgar Square London. This event celebrates one year to go until Rio 2016, the first time the Olympic and Paralympic Games have ever been hosted in South America.
