Westminster is an exciting place – that’s why you wanted to work there, right?
Be warned, though: your constituents agree with you, and they are coming to visit. Probably on Budget Day. All at once.
With plenty of notice, visits can be arranged with the minimum of disruption, but of course many of your constituents will require access for 2 coachloads this Friday, along with Prime Minister’s Questions tickets, a personal tour by their MP, and tea and cake on the Terrace. That won’t be a problem, will it?
There is, of course, only one thing you can do: swallow your fear, find a working pen, and read on.
