It's easy to enter. Just tell us about the difference you made in your school or community.
The size of your project doesn’t matter. It could be anything from increasing the number of recycling bins in your school to campaigning to save local wildlife.
What matters is your school council's efforts led to a positive change.

The Speaker’s School Council Awards are open to every infant, primary, secondary and SEN school in the UK.

A winning school council will be awarded in each of four age categories:

  • Infant age (4-7)
  • Junior age (8-11)
  • Secondary age (12-16)
  • Young adults (17-19)

  • 4-7:      St Francis de Sales - Intergenerational Ladies and Gents do Lunch

  • 8-11:    St Joseph's Catholic Primary School - Dementia Friends 

  • 12-16:   Inscape House - AUWARE- Raising Autism Awareness in Local Schools

  • 17-19:   Ysgol Y Deri - School Construction Ambassadors
