Wellcome Trust Medical History and Humanities Programme

The Wellcome Trust is a global charitable foundation dedicated to achieving extraordinary improvements in human and animal health.

The Trust supports biomedical research and the medical humanities. It's breadth of support includes public engagement, education and the application of research to improve health. The Trust is independent of both political and commercial interests.

This scheme enables a Wellcome Trust-funded PhD student or junior fellow to undertake a three-month fellowship. It is intended to help the Fellow develop an awareness of policy environments and processes, and to raise an issue relevant to the Trust's Medical History and Humanities programme among a parliamentary audience.

Application for the 2015 fellowship will open later in the year and details will be posted here and on the Wellcome Trust's website. You can keep in touch with fellowship opportunities by following us on Twitter.
