Institution of Chemical Engineers - The Ashok Kumar Memorial Fellowship

The Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) is a global professional membership organisation for people with experience or an interest in chemical engineering. Founded in 1922 as a professional institution for chemical and process engineers, IChemE has grown to its current status of over 40,000 members across 120 countries.

The Institution supports one fellowship every year at POST in memory of the late Dr Ashok Kumar MP, who was a respected chemical engineer and IChemE Fellow and who chaired the POST Board from 2005 until his sudden death in March 2010.

Who is eligible to apply?

Any IChemE researcher or postgraduate student (PhD students past their 1st year).

Start date

To be negotiated between the applicant, POST, the applicant's supervisor and University, IChemE and NEPIC.
