MPs and Peers ask written questions to government Ministers. The Daily Report is a compilation of the written answers submitted by government Ministers (and by other bodies such as the Church Commissioners and the House of Commons Commission).
On each sitting day a Daily Report is generated, one for the House of Commons and one for the House of Lords. In addition, the House of Commons is currently publishing a weekly report on a Friday during parliamentary recesses. The Daily Report is a compilation of one day’s answers. The formal publication of Written Answers for the 2014-15 Session of Parliament can be found on the Written questions and answers pages. Written Answers from previous Sessions of Parliament were published in Hansard.
