The Deputy Leader of the House of Commons, Tom Brake, announced the recess dates up to January 2015 in the Business Statement given on Thursday 24 October 2013.
Motions making changes to the recess dates were agreed on Monday 2 December 2013 and Monday 9 June 2014.
February 2015 recess dates were announced by the Leader of the House, William Hague, on Thursday 16 October 2014 during the Business Statement.
The State Opening for the 2014-15 session took place on Wednesday 4 June 2014.

Recess dates are announced in the House of Commons by the Leader of the House of Commons. The exact pattern of recesses can change and is normally slightly different for the two Houses.
