Engage with Parliament: Parliament and you in partnership with the British Deaf Association

Come to a free event organised by Parliament’s Outreach Service in partnership with the British Deaf Association to find out about the work of Parliament and how to have your say on the topics that matter to you, as a member of the deaf community.

Our guest speaker, Stephen Lloyd MP, Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Deafness, will talk about promoting the interests of deaf and hard of hearing people through the work of Parliament.

The session will also provide:
• A general introduction to Parliament and its work
• Practical guidance on how and why to get involved
• Case study examples of successful engagement with MPs and Lords
• Opportunities for group discussions and networking
British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters will be present and refreshments will also be available.
