Tours plus afternoon tea

A popular combination of a tour highlighting one thousand years of history, modern day politics, and stunning art and architecture, plus the opportunity to take a table service afternoon tea beside the River Thames.

What does the tour plus afternoon tea cover?

A tour plus afternoon tea includes:

This table service afternoon tea is taken in the elegant surroundings of the Terrace Pavilion in the House of Commons. This room provides fine views over the River Thames and can accommodate up to 70 people per sitting.

Parliament’s chefs have created a tempting seasonal menu of savouries and sweets which combines tradition with a modern twist. Beverages are a selection of teas or freshly brewed coffee.

Vegetarian and gluten-free diets can be accommodated. Please request these when booking. Unfortunately this afternoon tea offer is not suitable for those requiring a dairy-free diet.

Afternoon tea sittings are occasionally subject to variation or cancellation due to the State Opening of Parliament and other Parliamentary business.
