Lords debates AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria

Members of the Lords, including the director of the International Aids Vaccine Initiative and a council member of the European Parliamentarians for Africa, will debate the action the government is taking to support the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, on Thursday 11 December.

This is a topical question for short debate. During debates, Lords are able to put their experience to good use, checking and challenging the government.

The debate was proposed by Lord Fowler (Conservative), director of the International Aids Vaccine Initiative, other speakers expected to contribute include:

Baroness Northover (Liberal Democrat), parliamentary under-secretary of state for the Department for International Development, will respond on behalf of the government.
