What is the UK Parliament email alerting service and GovDelivery?

This service is supplied to the UK Parliament website by an external company called GovDelivery. Please note that the name of the company, GovDelivery, is not related to any part of the UK government and the service is administered by staff at Parliament. What information do we collect? How is that information used?

We only collect personally identifiable information about you to the extent you specifically provide it to us. This includes, for example, the information you provide when you register to receive subscriptions or notices related to a document provided by the UK Parliament email alerting service.
