Our primary focus at PICT is to provide the vital technological support needed by the Members and staff of both the House of Commons and the House of Lords. Our concern is meeting their needs as our customers, giving them access to the very latest ICT that enables Parliament to function at its most efficient and most effective capacity.
PICT is unique within Parliament, as the only department owned by both Houses and which supports Members of both Houses and all Parliamentary staff. The work carried out is hugely diverse - from every day user support and training facilities, to providing and developing the latest enterprise-wide administrative and desktop systems. ICT specific roles available include service desk and engineering support, telecommunications, server and network management, applications development and support, programme and project management. Crucial too are the non-technical roles - such as HR, finance and other support roles. The opportunities page lists all currently available vacancies.
Our aim is to reach a world class standard in the provision, support and exploitation of ICT. Every member of PICT staff plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the UK Parliament, with technology at the heart of its infrastructure.
Are you ready to be part of that?
Then we look forward to hearing from you.
