Parliament Talks...

In March 2012, Parliamentary Outreach will launch 'Parliament Talks...', a new series of regular, subject-specific events to be held around the UK.

What is 'Parliament Talks...'?

Each event will feature a range of expert speakers who will explain and lead discussion on Parliament’s vital role in effectively scrutinising public policy and holding the Government to account.

Attendees at 'Parliament Talks...' events will find out how the work of Parliament is particularly relevant to a specific subject or issue and the opportunities to engage with and influence the members and committees of the House of Commons and House of Lords.

Forthcoming 'Parliament Talks...'

'Parliament Talks...Science' will be the first event in the series, focusing on science and technology issues. It will take place on Thursday 15 March 2012 at the University of Leeds during National Science and Engineering Week.
