CPA UK promotes the advancement of parliamentary democracy by enhancing knowledge and understanding of democratic governance.

Parliamentary Archives

The Parliamentary Archives provides access and answers enquiries about the archives of the House of Lords, the House of Commons and other records relating to Parliament.


POST is Parliament's in-house source of independent, balanced and accessible analysis of public policy issues related to science and technology.

Parliamentary Bookshop

The Parliamentary Bookshop stocks copies of current Bills, Hansard (the daily record of parliamentary proceedings) and a range of publications from The Stationery Office and elsewhere.

Education Service

The Education Service works on behalf of the House of Commons and House of Lords to provide resources for schools, and organises educational visits.

Parliamentary Information and Communications Technology (PICT) supports Parliament by embracing new and innovative technologies and providing a secure and efficient network and desktop environment for MPs, Lords and Parliament staff.

UK National Parliament Office, Brussels

The UK National Parliament Office (NPO) is the office which represents both Houses of the UK Parliament at EU level.

The House of Commons Information Office answers questions about the business, history and membership of the House.
