Speaker's School Council Awards

Welcome to the awards

Winning schools awarded Speaker's prizes

Applications are now closed for the 2010-11 Speaker's School Council Awards. Thank you to all the schools that submitted an application.

Our judges carefully considered every application and we now have a brilliant selection of winners and runners up representing great school council projects from across the country. The awards ceremony for the winners was held on 30 June 2011.

The Speaker’s School Council Awards recognise the most innovative and exciting school council projects in each of four age categories (ages 4-7, 7-11, 11-16 and 16-19).

If you missed this year’s application stage, you can still stay involved with the awards. By registering your school, pupil or student council we can keep you up-to-date with SSCA news.

You’ll also be able to build your own school council showcase page and share best practice with school councils across the UK.

And you can always make use of the resources and top tips from school council and student voice experts from across the country.
