  • Communications Committee

    The Committee considers the media and the creative industries

  • Constitution Committee

    The Constitution Committee examines all public bills for constitutional implications and investigates broad constitutional issues


  • DPRR

    The committee scrutinises proposals in bills to delegate legislative power from Parliament to another body and also examines Legislative Reform Orders



  • HIV and AIDS in the UK Select Committee

    The Committee will agree its precise terms of reference at its first meeting

  • House Committee

    The House Committee sets the policy framework for the administration of the House of Lords

  • Hybrid Instruments Committee

    The Hybrid Instruments Committee decides whether an opposed hybrid instrument should have its merits enquired into by a Select Committee set up for that purpose


  • Information Committee (Lords)

    The Information Committee considers the House's information and communications services, including the Library and Parliamentary Archives


  • Liaison Committee (Lords)

    The Liaison Committee allocates resources between select committees, reviews the select committee work of the House, considers requests for ad hoc committees and reports to the House with recommendations

  • Lords' Conduct (Sub-Committee)

    The Sub-Committee undertakes detailed consideration of matters relating to the Code of Conduct for Members of the House of Lords.




  • Refreshment Committee

    The Refreshment Committee considers the refreshment services for the House of Lords


  • Science and Technology Committee (Lords)

    The Science and Technology Committee is appointed to consider science and technology. It does this principally through undertaking inquiries

  • Science and Technology Sub-Committee I

    The Science and Technology Sub-Committee has launched an inquiry into Higher Education in STEM Subjects

  • Selection Committee

    The Committee of Selection is appointed to select and propose to the House the names of the members of select committees

  • Standing Orders (Private Bills)

    The Standing Orders Committee is charged with deciding whether or not to dispense with any Standing Order, which the Examiners of Petitions for Private Bills consider has not been complied with
