Attend debates and meetings

UK residents and overseas visitors can come and watch Parliament at work for free. Members of the public can attend debates on current issues or proposed new laws from the public galleries when the Houses are sitting. Public committee meetings - in which issues such as government policy, new legislation or wider topics, are examined in detail by smaller groups of MPs or Lords - are open to everyone.
